Welcome to the Pakistan Boxing Federation

Pakistan Boxing Federation (PBF) is the national governing body of sport of Boxing in the Country. PBF is the member organization of International Amateur Boxing Federation (A.I.B.A), and Federation of Asian Amateur Boxing (FAAB).

The history of Boxing in Pakistan is as old as the history of Pakistan itself. In 1948, the first National Boxing Championship was held at Karachi. Boxing is among the very few sports, in which Pakistan has made slow but steady progress. Pakistani boxers have been winning honors in the Asian Games and Asian Boxing Championships ever since they started taking part in these events.
PBF has been able to conduct two International Boxing Tournaments in Pakistan.
Achievements
  • Commonwealth Games 1970, Edinburgh, Scotland. Samad Mir won the Bronze medal.
  • 10th SA Games, Colombo, Sri Lanka, won five Gold and three Silver medals.
