February 17, 2012 [PSF]: As part of Pakistan Squash Development Strategy for talent hunt and grooming the youngsters, the 2nd District League for Rawalpindi / Islamabad was launched on 1st December, 2011 and culminated on 07 January, 2012. A group of 10 teams from various clubs participated in Under-11, 13, 15, 17, 19, seniors, veterans and girls categories. Around 100 players from various clubs participated in league matches.
The concluding ceremony of 2nd District League was organized at Mushaf Squash Complex, Islamabad. At this occasion a match was played in U-13 categories, in which Mr Sarosh Irfan Falcon Club defeated M Kashif of Islamabad Club with the game score of 3-0.
Air Vice Marshal Syed Razi Nawab, Senior Vice President Pakistan Squash Federation graced the ceremony as chief guest.
At the end trophies were distributed among the players of all categories from participating clubs. Benazir Bhutto Squash Club won the 2nd District League Challenge Trophy. Following are the results of 1st and 2nd positions of participating clubs.
