The IOC has invited to join the One Year To Go celebrations on 23 July, 2020 ahead of the postponed Olympic Games Tokyo 2020. Event will be streamed live on Olympic Channel www.olympicchannel.com on 23 July, 2020 at 8 p.m. JST (GMT+9) at the Olympic Stadium in Tokyo.
A series of activities have been planned to mark this occasion, under the #StrongerTogether, which recognises the importance of the solidarity and unity of the Olympic community, athletes and fans during these difficult times, and acknowledges the power of sport, and in particular the Olympic Games, to bring people together.
The campaign’s objective is to create positive sentiment amongst athletes, fans and media using #StrongerTogether message around the milestone. The key messages of the IOC for the celebrations are Solidarity + unity + diversity + resilience + progress + hope
The IOC will be using the following hashtags:
#1YearToGo and #StrongerTogether
