A meeting of the Secretaries General of National Sports Federation was held at Olympic House on 13 July, 2016 under the Chairmanship of Lt Gen (R) Syed Arif Hasan. Before taking up the agenda items, the house offered Fateh for the departed soul of AbdulSattarEdhi, a world known living saint and most loved person in Pakistan who selflessly served the humanity. Lt Gen (R) Syed Arif Hasan requested all the participants to develop a spirit of dedication and commitment as followed by the saint,in their lives and equally in sports. He also urged that the sports leaders must try to instill the passion of the departed soul among the athletes. The house prayed for the boon and benevolence of the departed soul. May Allah Almighty in His infinite mercy shower His blessings on the departed soul and grant courage to his family and all Pakistanis to bear this irreparable loss.
